Art and literary magazine

291 was an art and literary magazine, published in New York, in the early 20th century.

Alfred Stieglitz, along with Marius de Zaya, Agnes E. Meyer and Paul Haviland, created the magazine in order to promote his gallery. Famous artists such as Francis Picabia, Max Jacob and a few avant-garde painters also became regular contributors.
